THE FAIRYCATCHER

One of my favorite pieces of rust is this vent cover, once part of a building that doesn't exist any longer. A certain friend and co-worker managed to pick it up for me one day. Actually, he went out to the roof and took it cause I'd claimed it months beforehand. He put it in a cardboard box as if we were moving it to our next office. After that, we struggled to get him back into the building without alerting anyone to our mischief by our excessive giggling and celebratory chatter.

I took it home and prettied it up some.
